Exceptions to the minimum quality requirements
The following imports are not subject to the minimum quality requirements specified in the above mentioned subparagraph:
a) Donations received by the Public Sector.

b) Imports carried out by members of the National Diplomatic Services.

c) Import of used vehicles for collection purposes intended for transport of passengers and classified in the national subheadings 8703.21.00.10 to 8703.90.00.90, provided that they comply with the minimum requirements related to the age of vehicle, which shall be equal to or greater than 35 years from their manufacture. The age of vehicle shall be proved. For clearance of these vehicles, you shall submit to the corresponding Customs Intendency a sworn statement indicating that the vehicle to be imported shall be used for collection purposes. Such vehicles could be repaired or imported for repair purposes in the country. In case of repair in the country, this could not be carried out in export, transformation, industry, trade and services zones (CETICOS) and ZOFRATACNA. d) Imports carried out by foreign administrative personnel or employees of the Diplomatic Missions, Consular Office, Representatives and Offices of International Organizations duly authorized before the Government of Peru with the exception of requirement related to the age of vehicle.
