Glossary

• Handheld means any low-weighted item which is designed to be easily transported while being held in the hand or hands.
• Seizure means a preventive measure adopted by the Customs Authority comprising the forced deprivation of ownership and transfer of goods to a SUNAT warehouse while determining their outright legal situation.
• Confiscation means a sanction comprising an outright deprivation of goods’ ownership in favor of the Government.
• Delayed baggage means that a traveler’s baggage has not arrived with him/her due to reasons non-attributable to a traveler.
