In Peru IMPORTATION is also referred to IMPORTATION FOR CONSUMPTION, which is a regime enabling the entry of goods for consumption to the Customs territory after the payment of Customs duties or a guarantee, as appropriate, and other applicable taxes; payment of surcharges or fines, if any, and the fulfillment of Customs formalities and obligations.
