3. Accident 

No accident has happened. For such purposes, it is considered as a car accident when it has been involved in a rollover car accident or in a head-on, lateral or rear-end collision and the vehicle continue working in a mechanical, electrical and electronic way.
(Article 1°, letter c) of legislative Decree N° 843 modified by article 1° of Supreme Decree N° 042-2006-MTC).    

Likewise, used automotive vehicles, whose defect is the lack of bumpers, headlight and/or rear light and other external spare parts of vehicle, are not considered as damaged.
 
4. Location of the steering wheel 

The steering wheel’s position shall be on the left side as it was initially manufactured. The entry of a vehicle, which has been manufactured initially with the steering wheel on the right side and it is subsequently changed to the left side, is prohibited.

  1. Gas Emissions

 

Pollutant gas emissions from automotive vehicles should not exceed the maximum permissible limit established by the current legal standards. 
(Article 1º, letter e) of legislative decree Nº 843, modified by article 1º of Supreme Decree Nº 017-2005-MTC).
