1. 2. Mileage

   At the moment of nationalization, the maximum mileage for automotive vehicles shall be:
   (Article 1°, letter b) of legislative Decree N° 843 modified by article 1° of Supreme Decree N° 042-2006-MTC published on 22.12.2006).

   The compliance of this requirement should be proved before SUNAT, for which the true mileage shall be indicated in the Unique Customs Declaration. Likewise, the Certifying Entities shall demonstrate in the Inspection Report or First Report of used vehicle verification, as appropriate, that vehicle complies with this requirement at the moment of nationalization. For such purposes, the customs agent shall indicate the mileage and the type of ignition compulsorily in the fourth line of 5.19 of issue B of DUA. For transmitting such information by tele-clearance to SUNAT, it shall be recorded in the BDUADET2 Table according to:

   The codes related to the Type of Ignition are as follows: 

   CHI    : Spark ignition vehicle
   COM  : Compression ignition vehicle

   In all cases for transmitting it to SUNAT by tele-clearance, the type of ignition shall be indicated in BDUADET 2 table in the field CLAS_VARI in positions 72 to 89 following the ignition type code.
