Procedure for household goods entry

For household goods entry, a traveler must go to the Customs Administration, where their goods shall enter, with a passport or official document, and shall request for the Simplified Import Declaration (DSI) form. To submit a DSI, a traveler must attach the documentation required by Customs, such as transport document, invoice or sworn statement of goods value.

Once the documentation is submitted and Customs officer is assigned for physical examination, clearance of household goods is carried out upon corresponding tax payment. This process takes one (1) day.
